Marion began designing fashion prints in the mid seventies. It was the world of Biba and Bus Stop. Her first designs were bought by Radley Quorum and Viyella. She worked as a colourist for Collier-Campbell and then launched her career as an independent designer with a commission to design a range of silk scarves for Liberty’s.
Over the last thirty years her designs have been popular in New York, London and Paris. Her customers have included Liberty, Habitat, Crabtree & Evelyn, Macys, P Kaufmann and Jim Thompson.
Recent commissions include designs for opera costumes, stationery products and greeting cards. She loves mixing colours and also enjoys making cushions, collages & pictures stitched from her own collection of vintage fabrics.
